Text: Mitchel K AhernMemory and Sense of Place: Worcester Massachusetts is based on an 8 mm animated film I produced in 1981. The title was Main Street, Worcester. The animation was created by photographing a walk down Main Street, photocopying the prints and then coloring in the photocopies. The photocopies themselves have followed me around for years, and became this piece.
